Lack of Parking Facilities for public transport users in RR Nagar

A problem that I face everyday is lack of safe parking places in Rajajrajeshwari Nagar. I live in Krishna Garden, where there is no last mile connectivity to speak of. I use the public transport as riding through Bangalore's roads have become a pain.

I have written numerous letters to BMTC but it has been of no avail. I am forced to park the bike at Kengeri TTMC or Kengeri Railway station. Both these places are a good 3 kms away and it is also too risky to ride the bike on this stretch late at night because of lack of streetlights. I see a lot of people parking the vehicle in front of RR Nagar Temple and taking the bus. I feel this is a little too risky as the cops could tow the vehicles any time. Is there a way we could solve this problem? The option of parking at the Gopalan Arcade Mall was explored as well and it is way too expensive. Using the auto is also not an option because of the costs involved. One solution would be to request the MLA to spare his funds to get a parking place built at Jnanabharthi Railway station with adequate lighting. Could people of RR Nagar get together to get this simple thing done?

Nowadays, I walk from RR temple to Krishna Garden as I feel it is a much better option.
