Regarding Road Widening Status from GM Palya to Vignannagar

Few months back the road widening activity started from GM palya to Vignan Nagar. The clearing and electric poles havebeen replaced but the remaining work is left as it is. Travelling on the road has become a major hassel specially for pregnant woman and people with back pains.

Along with this the drain work has been started but the dirt is left on the road making it very narrow. We would like to know if the road tarring and repair will ever be completed. Including the entrance of 5th Main Malleshapalya road which looks like its a village. It does not look like a part of the great namma Bangaluru city.

My third issues is a request to increase night patrolling in this areas as we hear instances of miscreants getting into buildings. But we are not sure which building a general increase would be much appreciated.

Widen road @ GM Palya

I agree with Archana.  The work does not seem to end at all.

Also the road from BEML gate till GM palaya is wide enough, but narrows much to a single lane at GM Palya bus stop.  When ever the BMTC/Factory buses cross this area, there is a huge traffic jam with the ongoing BEML-Vignan nagar traffic, and call centre cabs to Bagmane back gate on GMPalya-Byrasandra road. With the ongoing road widening from GM Palya - VIgnan nagar vehicles will reach GM palya faster but passing through may take same if not more time.  . GM Palya will remain a bottleneck and at least the portions of road near bus stop need to be widened to streamline the traffic..

Will authorities look into it??
