How to cross Hosur Road below Elevated Expressway

There is no easy way for people on the ground to cross express way (Hosur Road) by bus and cycle. One needs to walk or traverse a long distance to cross the elevated expressway as there is no footpath. For example if you got to building say across pier 26, u need to cycle or walk to pier 51 and come all the way back.

What can we do about this? are the roads not for common people?

Yes it is Hosur Road, below the Express high way. Till they put the magic structures, the people by bus and cycle will suffer.

I travelled once and felt the pain. I might not travel that stretch again. But checked with my office security and people working at cafteria and they explained me the pain of walking a long distance as there is no way to cross Hosur Road below the Express high way. For them before Express way came, they could cross Hosur Road.

express way == jn/signal free?

NHAI's tolled highways are dotted with ped subways at every small village that the road divides..couldn't that have been done for Hosur rd?

It looks like this is something that this PPP project grossly missed..and the proponents (NRN/AP/KMS) were more interested in getting  a 'fly-over-the-reality' concept in place! Sorry SB couldn't stop from the rant!

Anyways its never late..BBMP/BDA shd not find it too difficult to put the magic structures for the ped subways at regular intervals!

Say Hosur Road, not express way

You have a problem crossing Hosur Road (on the ground), not the Elevated expressway, right? Just to confirm,

Possible to post some pictures of how the pedestrian amenities are on Hosur Road?
