We've formed a 'Varthur Lake' sub group under Whitefield Rising to help rejuvenate the Varthur lake. The ideas have ranged from some quick action to divert the sewage going into the lake to a larger vision with a PPP model to take this neighbourhood to be among the best waterfront neighborhoods globally. We are working with different government  agencies at multiple levels to improve the situation. We welcome ideas, time and effort from concerned citizens. Pls feel free to connect us to people who you think may be able to help us in these efforts. Also, if you know of best practices, learnings from other efforts, do enlighten us. Looking forward to working with groups cleaning up the upstream lakes as well. Help us spread the word.
