The state Cabinet has deferred the proposal of Siemens Ltd, a majority stakeholder in Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), to divest 40 per cent of its stake in the BIAL.

It may be recalled that Siemens Ltd had recently decided to sell 14 per cent of its share.

Organisations such as GVK, Tata and Changi Airport have evinced interest to buy this stake

Its time for State Govt to take out pound for  getting HAL Aiport open.  Or else  let  GoK buy the remaining stake and be major stake holder and sell the same stake to other private player at market rate leter date.

Then only we will have relief from UDF &  monoply of BIAL
