tsubba - 14 September, 2007 | BIAL | Bangalore | Infrastructure
With BIAL well on its way, here is a look at what to expect. Some images and walkthroughs. First some images [flickr-photo:id=1376332408,size=m][flickr-photo:id=1375426923,size=m] [flickr-photo:id=1375426775,size=m][flickr-photo:id=1376331842,size=m] [flickr-photo:id=1376332042,size=m][flickr-photo:id=1375426351,size=m] (First 5 images credits to BIAL, last one via Deccan Herald) Virtual Walk Through. Walkthrough the airport based on old design. As seen in pictures above, the new design does not have rangolis and the color is gray. But the flow and layout remains the same even after redesign. Couldn't manage pics, but looks good from top. Runway seemed all painted and done. Couldn't spot a building w/o roofs. Trumpet interchange didn't seem complete, and still not much at the railway crossing before the airport interchange.
The airport of course looks good and the render is great too. But why drop rangoli? That kind of gave the 'Bangalore' brand when someone arrived. Well, waiting for the remaining 15% work to be done. -Shastri

hi arunvishvin, how do you mean that the two layouts are different? (a)(b) (c)(d) (e)(f) you mean c&d are in variance to a&b?
