Track posts/authors/topics with "My Praja" feature
tech - 15 September, 2008 - 16:01
With lots of posts and comments, it was getting hard for some of us to track things on the website. So we have enabled a "My Praja" feature which will let you build personal pages on Praja with content of your choice. Say you only want to read posts from memebers X, Y or Z. Or, you want to watch comments on a particular post. Or, you only want to read posts of type "analysis", or "Suggestion". You can build one or more pages with such content on Praja using the new "My Praja" feature.
It works only for registered users. Just sign in and click on the "My Praja" link on the menu bar to get started.
Report problems if you hit any. And if you find it useful, let us know so that we can make it more usable.
Praja-city sites
tech - 15 September, 2008 - 11:32
We just got started with city specific sub-sites, like bangalore.praja.in, pune, mangalore, mysore, belgaum and more. The main site (www.praja.in) will show all cities mixed up. Up next is some work to make each praja-city page more local and richer with jazz like visuals, recent comments, popular posts etc. We also plan personalized sub-sites for activist groups, ex: "caf.praja.in" (coming soon). If you need one for your group, let us know. As always, we can't do a thing without help from the community here, so do send your suggestions via emails to admin or comments on this post.
rating feature is offline

Folks have reported issues with the new rating feature (five star system). We have withdrawn it to investigate further.
