Spanner in the works for namma metro again..this time its the planning commission. According to them soft loans from Japan are good for DMRC only..Bangalore should change now to PPP!

"The Commission is of the view that in case a SPV is set up, then the ownership is not clear and the functioning is not transparent."

Why does the great commission change rules for already started project?

Since namma metro is a corporation, isnt it the absolute owner? where is the question for functioning not being transparent?

On the other hand, PPP projects are not transparent, as was put on Churumuri "PPP is where the Public is a puppy of the Private"

Finally where are we heading with all this? delayed metro..unless CM BSY does some wonders!

We have seen an arguably a sad disaster with PPP in BIA. Why do we want to repeat this?
