I called up Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on ph nos 22267421 / 22267303 / 22265746, listed on their site, to check if the programme was on, in view of the bandh called by the ruling BJP. Not getting any response, even after repeated attempts, I dropped my plans to participate.
Having put this info out in the public domain, I felt obliged to make this post.
Its postponed

I was passing by the same road after some work, thought will drop in and check. Came to know that it has been postponed and the date yet to be fixed. For more authentic information, called up my friend who is working with Prof. Rajeev Gowda only to get the same answer. Next date yet to be fixed.
