BANGALORE AS A CREATIVE CITY: An Open Consultation to discuss Policy Recommendations involving Urban Arts and Culture Spaces will be held on Thursday 29th September, 2011 (10.30AM to 7 PM), at The National Gallery of Modern Art, Manikyavelu Mansion, 49 Palace Road, Bengaluru - 52 (Ph: 2234 2338)

The Centre for the Study of Culture and Society (CSCS), Bangalore in collaboration with the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Bengaluru is organising this event to address the role of arts and culture in urban planning and development.

The consultation is not merely a single event but the first of a series of conversations that will help formulate policy directions. The issues and questions that the consultation raises we hope will be taken up in future forums with diverse cultural groups that have a stake in the city.
