dedicated lane for cars?

Someone had an interesting take on this, just wanted to share. Since cars are the bigger problems (road throughput wise), why not force them to use a dedicated lane, and keep all else (bus, two wheelers, cycles) open on the road?

...why not let all traffic use only dedicated lanes whilst allowing buses & bicycles free to manoever anywhere ? We would then be returning back to where we started! Only, make sure buses move past signals without any delays.
