The Commuter Rail Service, the concept revived by Prajagalu, is now expected to become a reality in another six months. Prajagalu used the opportunity to highlight how not to run the services making an example of the present Devanahalli services, holding BMTC equally to blame.

Final draft of NMT

The final draft DPR for provisioning NMT facilities in the MG road area & surroundings (drawn up in consultation with DULT) was put up for comments from the public, establishing 'praja.in' once again as the vehicle for such public consultations. Simultaneously, cycling trend is catching on in the city with more and more parking lots now getting constructed.

BPS moves ahead

Simultaneously, the Bus Priority System conceived by Prajagalu, in consultation with CiSTUP, is beginning to gain acceptance with the BMTC, with the new MD expressing interest in giving it a try, even as the Bus-Day concept is being kept alive.

BESCOM - shifting transformers

BESCOM MD himself came on to explain the circumstances under which a transformer shifting can be effected, since nobody wants it in front of his house, while wanting the power alone.

For better laws, debate and discuss bills first!

The proposal for extensive debate and discussions of bills in order to have better laws, made by the head of a think tank in Delhi was fully endorsed by Prajagalu, who simultaneously thought that 'praja.in' provided the ideal vehicle for it.
