Research/ design project on sustainable tranport. calling for volunteers

As part of the upcoming praja event, mobilicity, scheduled for nov 21, there is a paper being researched, on the following subject:

Publish concrete schedule

Publish concrete schedule for the event day, with confirmed sessions and time slots.

The schedule will provide content for publicity emails/latters, and printed posters for the event day.

Deadlines:

• First cut by EOD Wed Nov 4.
• Final version - Nov 7, ready to go for printing.

D-Day - final plan

Event day details - based on the schedule, determine and plan for things like

• direction signs, posters brochures etc
• logistics (mics, seating etc),
• registration area
• booths for open area (RVCE demo, last minute unconference speaking sessions)
• etc

List of presenters/speakers and moderators for all sessions

Share schedule with all confirmed speakers and moderators on regular basis to make sure they are aware of exact timings. Plus - named moderator for each of the 5 pre-planned sessions, including panel debate.

Essentally - all of them should be fully aware on the event schedule.

The need for mobility and transportation arises because people and goods need to move from one place to another. We move because we need to go to places of employment, education, shopping, recreation, healthcare etc. Mobility requirements of citizens depend upon the choices the city provides them. Taking Mobilicity Forward

Writing in a request to Mobilicity project members to take the concept forward via series of small events, or otherwise. To some extent Bus Day itself came out of Mobilicity efforts, the concept was seeded during Mobilicity meetings.
