Praja Site will run an exclusive campaign for the upcoming Feb 4th Bus Day event. It would be nice if we can give a catchy name to the campaign. Some suggestions are:

  1. Take the Bus
  2. EE DINA BUS DINA

Do you have any more suggestions to the list?

Jago Re Campaign?

Vasanth - 4 January, 2010 - 10:48

Jago Re Tea advertisement had a campaign to promote voting. Similarly, it would be good if they start nation wide advertising campaign to use public transport, road discipline etc..

'Take the bus' is good...

Srivatsava - 6 January, 2010 - 04:42

I would opine that the name of the event should convey the expectation from the participant. THe organisors anyway dont need the title to understand the intent of the event. Hence, 'Take the bus' is most appropriate....

There are lots of campaign slogans on this post.. Let me give out a couple more..

  • Say Hai to bus, Say Bye to traffic and pollution
  • Bus to work --> No jerk to work
  • Car to workplace, Sweat on your face
  • Take the bus, Environment gets a plus
  • Bus to work, बस to Traffic

None of these can be good event title, these can only be slogans for the event. A good title should have only 2-3 words and convey the agenda.

There are some Kannada suggestions posted.. They can also be good slogans/catch-phrase

  •  "Dump the Pump, Ride BMTC"
  •   "Dump the Pump, Ride BMTC - Save Energy, Conserve Nature"

I second 'Take the Bus'

kbsyed61 - 7 January, 2010 - 12:56

Sri,

I agree with you. The title 'Take the Bus' fits the event and also conveys the message we all would like to convey. Therefore I will also vote for 'Take the Bus'.

Choose the bus

idontspam - 7 January, 2010 - 14:20

'Choose the bus' would be my suggestion. It indicates the target audience have other options and you are reinforcing the right choice they need to make.

Of course if you want to make it a jingle you need to add a second half. Like, Choose the bus, skip the fuss or some such thing.

Take the bus- Be stress
