Pursuant to our campaign to reach out to elected representatives - MLAs, MPs and Ministers, I had written letters/petitions  to almost all of the Namma Railu Catchment area representatives. That included Union Ministers Veerappa Moily, Rahman Khan and Mr. Kharge.

In response, Shri. Rahman Khan, Union Minister for Minority Affairs & Waqfs, wrote a letter to Railway Minister recommending the Namma Rail Project. Shri. Mallikarjuna Kharge has promptly responded to his letter with a note that matter is under examination. Not sure what it means. But one thing we have done here is made an effort to all those who could help and matter in such issues.

Thank you Mr. Rahman Khan for responding to our petitions and taking up the matter with Shri. Kharge.

Here are the copies of these exchanges between Rhamn Khan and Kharge.

COMMENTS

Today,  Mr Satindra Pal Chopra along with ex MP H T Sangliana met Kharge at Rail Bhavan / Cantonment station regarding Subruban Rail Bangalore.

He presented the skeleton services on existing tracks with 6 Rakes and proposal by Cheif Sec which was sent to Railway Board on 28th Oct2013.

This time Kharge asked SWR Construction chief Adesh Sharma to look into this  and again saying same story of land from GOK for Tumkur - Davangere  line.

Why Kharge is so much adamant of not approving the Bangalore Suburban Rail project,  what will he get satisfaction of not approving???

This Sunday 29th Dec'2013,  thanks to the efforts of Tumkur - Bangalore Railway Prayanikar vedike efforts,  we presented Bangalore Suburban Rail to more then 100 people at Tumkur including Koratgere MLA, ZP Cheif of Tumkur Sakamma, MLA Hulikar Nayak,  Tumkur MP Basavaraj, FKCCI of Tumkur wing all were present.

Hemanth and myself went to  Tumkur and did littel bit efforts in reaching out Tumkur Dist people on getting support for this project.

Also distributed the Bangalore Suburban  Rail write up to all people whi came their.

SWR construction wing  IRSE officers also present  and so its small step in creating awarness to people and railway officals.

Also got the signature from MLA, MP, MLC and ZP chief for the petition to be submitted to Railway Minister Kharge.

On cycle day 29th Dec'2013,  Sandeep, Pranav tried to reach out to DULT Commissioner for the status of SPV Bangalore suburban rail.  Looks like in next one week this SPV should be in place.

We will try to reach out to Bangalore South MP Ananthkumar this weekend and will put pressure on him to take up with Kharge also.
