Traffic Woes - near Tin Factory msshankar1961@gmail.com - 11-JUL-2013
We find on and off some time strict implementation by Trafic Police No Parking of Private Buses, BMTC Buses at the entry point of K.R. Puram TIN Factory Hanging Bridge. There is no seriousness to control and regulate the Trafic. More worst is the Private Buses and fleet operators who don't care about anything except their " Money collection ". |

Photos from a walk around Domlur flyover silkboard - 10-DEC-2012
Some pictures from a walk we took around the Domlur flyover. Really hard to get around here in peak traffic times. Most common walk here seems to be change of direction from Airport Road to Inner Ring Road and vice versa. Coming from IRR, to go to airport road towards HAL/Outer Ring Road side: [flickr-photo:id=8259087633,size=m] [flickr-photo:id=8259087373,size=m] |
Route maps for BMTC Bus stands Ritu Shrivastava - 22-AUG-2011
A project to implement bus route maps for BMTC in the form of glowing (for night) signages that are clear, visible, and depicting 'where you are' plus the nearby bus routes from the stop to main stops in bangalore. The purpose it to help bus commuters locate themselves and commute with comfort without worrying about how to reach their destination. |
Naveen - 26-JUN-2011
I think the many repeated questions raised about 'Last Mile Connectivity' is more of a creation by the very large affluent private vehicle loving public in this city that loathes walking even short distances to & from bus stops, rather than reality. |
Better facilities for private run buses! kbsyed61 - 1-DEC-2010
There is no denial that private bus service is being operated in Bengaluru and other places without having its own/leased infrastructure like Terminus or bus stops. As noted in the Imran_haq's ordeal in Kalasipalya, in absence of proper infrastructure, these buses are making use of the public spaces like Roads, gullys, playgrounds even making use of no parking spaces. |
Anithasunil - 8-OCT-2010
The idea of having limited stop buses for routes such as Banashankari - ITPL has been discussed a lot in Praja. I have a new suggestion for the same. |
