I have been traveling on the NH7 to BIAL for the past 1 year and decided to make this post on how my experience has changed since May 2008. It is also a tribute to the Bangalore Traffic Police's efforts to make the commute a safer one. We often have nothing but the harshest words for our bureaucrats (and I am no exception), but we need to give them their due when they do a good job |

On May 22, BIAL completed first year of its operation. Major news papers have reported on BIAL's 1st anniversary. Going by these news reports, so far BIAL's performance isa mix bag of both positives and negatives. The silver lining is the operators have shown willingness to work with their customers including Industries & commerce. |

Lets bring back the Domestic Airport to HAL. For domestic travel where a air time can be of max 3-4 hrs, the passengers have to travel for 2-3 hrs. This is ridiculous. The Airport is such an important part, it should be accessible at ease. |

Late in 2008, several Praja members got together to file a series of RTI (Right to Information) applications to get information about Bangalore International Airport project executed by BIAL. The objectives were to find out how some decisions about the airport were made, when they were made, and the changes seen by concession agreement or land use plans. |

Happen to visit BIAL site out of curiosity to find anything that might be of interest. The current website still doesn't excite me, which many of have you written about it. But its one menu "Testimonials" attracted my attention. |
