Curiosity led me to look at affidavits filed by lok sabha election candidates on http://www.myneta.info. Interesting. If I had a net worth of 108cr like Mr Surendra Babu (JD-S, B'lore North) does, I'm sure our tax collectors will shadow me everywhere I go. But not so for our candidates. |

To get information about the MP from your constituency (or any other for that matter), SMS " MYNETA <PINCODE>" to 56070. For eg, for Sheshadripuram (Bangalore South) I would SMS "MYNETA 560020". |

As per a TOI report in January, NBCC (National Buildings Construction Corporation) which was scheduled to complete the civil works and hand them over to AAI by January end had asked for an extension, and Mysore MP C H Vijayashankar had asked NBCC to get done with work by February-end and latest by mid-March. By work, he had meant ATC and terminal building. |
Need private passenger trains in India idontspam - 26-MAR-2009
When we have choice of interstate bus services, interstate and international airlines why dont we have the same choice in trains? IR can coexist with private train services and compete for passengers fair and square. There has to be a neutral regulator deciding on allocations. Choice will then become economic rather than Biharic. |
