Biggest parking lot at Shantinagar TTMC !?!!

" TTMC at Shanthinagar will have one of the city’s largest parking spaces with a capacity to hold 525 cars and 742 two-wheelers."

The last time I went to shantinagar busstop was for attending the meeting with BMRCL..There was plenty of parking vacant on a weekday..I am sure its the same case on weekends too..

Lot of discussions/protests/street shows/VV Water Works employees protests are going on about award of JNNURM funded contract to JUSCO to be executed for ensuring 24X7 water supply to Mysoreans who are badly affected by irregular supply of all types of water at odd hours etc. etc.

Saving Madivala Lake

Madivala lake is dying. I think there is a definite plan in trying to kill the lake. First the hyacinth - i just dont understand why the hyacinth is allowed to mushroom and cover half the lake at any point of time - is there a mafia?

There is a place called Vignan Nagar near Tata Sherwood.  The main roads and layouts inside this area are well maintained.  The well constructed roads, street lights, drain canals everything are well done and designed.  This is being done by BJP MLA Mr.Raghu and BMP counciler Mrs.Prathima Raghu.

7am in the morning i just happen to go for a walk and all I end up feeling is that this city which I have fallen in love with over the past 2 years is 1 huge trash can! Depressed at that thought and thinking what we at praja can do about it...it just happens that 1 gentleman throws an empty cigarette box on the road right in front of me.
