Namma Railu - Terms of Reference

At the end of the meeting on Namma Railu at IISc on 30-Aug-2010, we had agreed to work on a Terms of Reference (TOR) for raising a demand for DPR (Detailed Project Report) for Namma Railu.

First DriveWell Day, supported by MphasiS - October 15

The first Drive Well day is confirmed for September 30th now postponed to October 15. (confirmed). MphasiS is supporting this first event. Based on how it goes, we can sit down with traffic police to plan the next one, and also find sponsors for the next such or similar event.

Dual status for land - fraud on fraud!

In the letter, a copy of which has been marked to the DG&IGP and the home minister, the city Police Commissioner Mr Shankar Bidari has said there have been irregularities and delays in implementing the land revenue Act and rules, giving scope for serious fraud, forgery and law and order situation.

Red Board buses v/s Black board buses

 BMTC's ordinary services are of 2 types-the red board catering to the suburban areas and the black board catering to the city areas. By the way of passes the red board passes have higher fares owing to the distance covered by the buses (Route no. 210 and above covering a minimum 15-20kms from city centre).
