Water - its going to be pretty serious this summer

We are probably going to see a severe water shortage from mid April onwards. The word going around is that this won't be a routine shortage that we are used to over last few years. May get pretty serious.

Sewage water treatment in Apartments

I have a question regarding operation of sewage treatment plants in apartments. 

I live in a community which has 300+ flats, and we have constant complaints on the sewage treatment plant from the KSPCB. One of the major complaints is about the treated water being thrown out to the storm water drain.

The projects to clean up storm water valleys had been taken up under Environment Action Plan (EAP) Part A in 2004, but it was taken up again in 2010 as there was no progress.

Politicians who participated in the discussion were in support of the proposal and praised CPP and BET's efforts in bringing a serious problem to limelight and planning a strategy to fight it. Politicians appeared to be united at the meeting to resolve the imminent crisis.
