The draft report of the Implementation of Commuter Rail for Bengaluru has been released by RITES to DULT. DULT has shared the report with us for our comments. We are expected to profvide our feedback before 30th of this month. SO do leave your feedback as comments to this thread.

Time to indulge in some talk on Namma Railu aka Commuter Rail Service (CRS). RITES has submitted a report to DULT last week. Sources claim that Rs 3000-4000 Crore can give Bangalore a 15 minute lead time commuter rail system covering 200 odd kms of distance. We will validate this once the RITES report is made public. |

Below is the Final Draft Detailed Project Report for provisioning NMT facilities in the MG road area & surroundings. This is not an official public consultation but I have taken permission from DULT to put up this DPR for review by Praja members. As a part of the Task force Praja has to provide comments by 28th July, (next Thursday).
