Stockholm and Hamburg became the first cities to be named European Green Capital on Monday, Stockholm was commended for beach improvements, high recycling rates, its congestion charging system, an extensive public transport system and carbon emissions that were half the national average.

Mumbai Selects Monorail Builder

Mumbai has selected the Scomi-L&T consortium to build it's Monorail. The first route (20km) is expected to be ready within 3 years. The other bidder, Reliance-Hitachi were eliminated due to longer construction period.

I have for some time wanted to share how planning road layouts is vital for ensuring traffic flows smoothly.

Here is the first in what I hope to make a series (and hope other contribute too) of road layouts from UK. Aim is to share these observations with our planners to reduce entropy on our roads.
