Fixing accountability for BBMP's works

One of the concrete slabs, covering the drain across the road junction in front of our residential complex (in S T Bed layout, Koramangala) main gate, developed cracks somewhere along, and eventually gave way around the middle of last week (see picture below), posing a hazard, particularly to pedestrians and two-whheler riders.

Undermining the Commissioner's authority

It seems like there is no value for the BBMP Commissioner M K Shankaralinge Gowda’s orders. Eight of the 15 officials, who were transferred by him from the civic body’s Town Planning Department to other departments 10 days ago, are back in the same department using ‘political influence’.
