Over the last 4 years I have been reading about articles in the news papers about the diminishing lakes in Blore. Once the city was proud to have hundreds of lakes, now has only 60+ lakes. I don't have exact statistics but what I know is Lake development Autority was once formed and they are doing the maintaining or for privatization of lakes. |

Hi, In addition to the numerous problems we already have on road and road works in Bangalore. I wanted to bring attention to the huge amount of mud and sand scattered on all roads in Bangalore. Last evening a convoy driving into the city had traffic stopped in both directions for at least 15 minutes on Mysore Road. I was waiting near the end of the flyover, headed out of the city and was wondering what in the world was the reason, until I saw some 5 vehicles of a convoy zoom into the city on the other side of the road. |

About two years ago, when BBMP website was revamped, they had promised an online complaints/grievance management system. The "coming soon" notice stayed on the website for about six months, and then was replaced with simple email ids for complaints and suggestions. Similarly, there has been a pending promise for an online RTI system. |
