Also they have introduced 5 rupees travel in Volvo anywhere in Mysore. 10 city volvos from BMTC has been sent to Mysore. How this will cause convenience to tourists? |

I was disappointed to see Yeddy even trying to list 100-day achievements via newspaper ads. And then media asking for opinions on 100-days. Can a meaningful as well as visible change be caused by a state government in just over three months? Aren't we impatient if we expect that? Cab Drivers can be called as 'insects' of Bangalore traffic. The kind of people who drive the Indicas and Sumos are usually 'bad mannered' and 'ready to fight' type of people. Autos are one type, but, since they are not as powerful as the cabs, they are 'bit better' than these cabs (comparison among the worst). These cab drivers behave as if they are pilots of Jet planes and saving the country!! |

Watch tatasky? Sit and watch cartoons with your children. Press green button on the remote. You can now select the audio in your favirote language. This option is not available most of the time. But whenever it is available, Engilsh, Hindi and Tamil, ashtay! No kannada, yaake? Tatasky doesn't want to do good business in Karnataka? Tatasky thinks only Tamil speaking population are demanding, baaki janaa not? Tatasky has competetion from Sun, which is based in Tamilnadu, so care more for Tamil than Kannada, or Malayalam? |

2000 acres for IT park, what about other things? silkboard - 7-AUG-2008
I am terribly sorry. But I have an issue with developments like these - new IT park on 2000 acres around the city (source: DH). No, I am not going to speak the beaten line of farmland acquisition. I am not anti development at all, but I speak for us, the urban dwellers who lead close to miserable lives in this city today. The government is setting up a sprawling IT park on 2,000 acres around the City to create the much-needed space for IT firms to expand their activities. Wonderful news, and the plans look good. But lets do some maths now.
