Is the wearing of seat belts optional in Bangalore? On my recent visits here I find (on a quick check) less than 30% of private car drivers wear seat belts, almost no taxi driver and LCV driver wears one. |

This morning I woke up to a bad or sad news about Bengaluru CRS. Spoke with IDS over the phone and he broke the news that Mamta's budget didn't had anything to say about Bengaluru CRS. That was really heart breaking. That too after so much work put down by Namma Railu team, Bengaluru CRS was nowhere to be heard in entire budget speech. |

Summary: The growing metro cities in India are in dire need of better transportation system. There are lot of proposed solutions which talks about more infrastructure ( Metro , Flyovers ) or talks about priority infrastructure for public transport like BRT ( and others). |
