Bus Priority meeting report, BMTC, Dec 22 Naveen - 28-DEC-2010
The BMTC meeting was to discuss about Bus Priority along the 335E/G1 route (ie. from Richmond circle to ITPL/Whitefield). In principle, BMTC is keen on this project & we were told that there were a total of five corridors that they were looking at for such bus priority routes. |

Despite many efforts and initiatives to improve driving skills of drivers of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), results have not matched the expectations. According to data available, this year (till December) 82 people have died in various accidents involving BMTC buses.The number of deaths recorded last year was also 82. |
Local Rail for Bengaluru with existing rail lines ravichandar - 25-DEC-2010
Here is a suggestion to solve Bangalore's traffic problems, also crop up a series of improvements. Railways as mass rapid transport system can play a very big role in solving this problem. Bangalore has railway lines in almost all the directions. It is feasible to ply local trains on these lines. |

Have scheduled a meeting with the minister on 27th of the month after he is free from campaigning for the local elections that are on. See acknowledged memorandum below. |
