Just happened to see the inner view of MG Road station in the BMRCL newsletter. (I cannot paste a link to it so have to embed it. Image Courtesy: BMRCL). It looks refreshingly devoid of commercial jazz and has a soothing feeling to it compared to other Metro railways all over the world. |

Namma Metro Turning Radius - A test train brushed against steel railings of viaduct Vasanth - 16-APR-2011
Namma Metro was supposed to be start by Ugadi, but it got postponed. Stations construction was told as the reason. But, CRS had not approved Namma Metro due to the small turning radius of two curves in Reach 1 one near NGEF and another near Ulsoor. Deccan Chronicle reported this and tracking from there, while other leading news papers have not reported anything about this. |

Few days back new footpath work completed in eCity Phase-2. From XIME to TataBP Solar strech. Here is the photo report. I have no comments posted on this intentionally. Last few pics show how a footpath space is used for "beautification" by a private company. So no footpath laid there :(

These are the days of 'Fight against Corruption". Suddenly the middle class has woken up from the deep slumber. The reaction is almost like the Earth has moved beneath them. Every sundry now is joining the bandwagon of 'Crusade Against Corruption'. I hope the Indian Middle class keeps the momentum and sustains the steam to fight this battle till the end. |
