Information on whitefield metro station location Yadhu - 12-AUG-2013
Hello, Can someone help me in identifying the location of Whitefield metro station? The current location of the BMTC terminal station falls on the west side of the railway line, while all the residential apartments/houses fall on otherside of railway line. This problem along with the absence of foot over bridge is causing lot accidents and problems. |
Vasanth - 5-JUL-2013
It is a good news about the approval of Bangalore Suburban Services known as Namma Railu in our Praja Discussions. Metro and CRS instead of competing each other as discussed, how could we make it complementary to each other? This needs proper integration of Metro Stations with SWR Stations wherever Possible giving a commuter seamless travel. |

Underpass/Sub Ways/Flyovers @ Namma Metro junctions kamalakar pandit - 23-APR-2013

Rain Water Harvesting on Namma Metro mp - 19-JUL-2011
Driving along the RV Road, I noticed that many of the Namma Metro Pillars now had largish drain pipes jutting out at the bottom, presumably to allow rain water from the tracks above and possibly the stations to join the city SWD system. Curious to know if anybody has evaluated the feasibility of rain water harvesting as a mandatory requirement for Namma Metro? It is still not too late. |
Namma Metro refreshingly different ? Bengloorappa - 18-MAY-2011
Just happened to see the inner view of MG Road station in the BMRCL newsletter. (I cannot paste a link to it so have to embed it. Image Courtesy: BMRCL). It looks refreshingly devoid of commercial jazz and has a soothing feeling to it compared to other Metro railways all over the world. |
