By not having an elected council in place, BBMP is not able to get matching grants under JNNURM for development of Bangalore. We have lost precious time and money thanks to malgovernance. Lokmanya Tilak in the early 20th century cried for Swaraj for all Indians. We in 21st century Bangalore cannot even manage our own neighbourhoods! |
