ABIDE Plans - More buses to the BMTC Fleet?

If we look at the Bengaluru Plan2020 and news that has appeared in the media suggests that for decongestion on B'lore roads, more buses are required and hence plan to add more buses to the BMTC fleet. Here is the scoop from DH

Hi, In addition to the numerous problems we already have on road and road works in Bangalore. I wanted to bring attention to the huge amount of mud and sand scattered on all roads in Bangalore. There is a proposal for runing Mono Rail in Bangalore by SCOMI-Geodesic consortium which is proposed to be awarded using the swiss-challenge method. As per initial high level information sent to Praja the consortium is proposing to build monorail along the three corridors.
