I wanted to complain of traffic situation on Bannerughatta Road. The median intersection opposite to Spar is causing lot of traffic jams especially evening times when Accenture and Oracle office timings.So I visited our Bangalore Traffic website and I was shocked to see this.

Freeways are Freeways and City Roads are City Roads, there is no confusion about that.

By definition a Freeway is - FREE - of pedestrians / cyclists and T or cross junctions. Our planners have never either understood this or did not care or had ulterior motives.

As the newspapers reported, work began on a brand new Traffic Management Center for Bangalore on October 6. Its being designed by the same guys who have build Network Operation Centers and Data cnters for IT companies, the facility is going to be similar to those - lots of screens on one big wall and seatings or cubicles besides it for policemen to watch and control cemeras and signals:
