It grew out of an idea from Pradip, a public transport enthusiast. He suggested that we stand at Kundalahalli junction one weekday morning and hand out roses and BMTC route maps to all the car commuters. The thought has grown into a  "Big10/Volvo to work day" for Whitefield.

Buses to Nagarbhavi after 9 PM (atleast till 10 PM)

After 9 PM there are only few buses running from vijayanagar to nagarabhavi circle (very rarely, that too you have to wait for 20 to 40 minutes to get buses). And these buses will be very rush. Ladies & aged people cannot get into these buses. During this time many private taxi/cabs will run in this route.

sustainable transport plan

i have been reading up all the to and fros on the BMTC discussion, and i am just wondering, considering the involvement
and interest of the praja members, if we shd take a step back, and discuss a long term
framework that is fundamantally about a sustainable transport solution/s for bangalore.
that would include walking, cycling, pooling.

Big10 on Old Madras Road?

Spotted a few big10 buses on old madras road... has the service started?.. there are no updates on btis.in website ..... anyone travelled on this route...

[additionally - where does the service terminate? what is the frequency? where does it connect with Hop on Hop off?]
