Metro /Mono Routes - Suggestions

Soil tests are being conducted in various parts of the city for Ph-2 of the Metro. Routes may be finalized based on results of soil tests, but the locations give a fair idea of how the routes are being planned.

There were a few concerns which I had & these are summarized in a letter & map with suggestions that has been forwarded to BMRC (via email).

Background: Had an unplanned meeting with BBMP, thanks to Ashiwn/SB. Part of our initiative for better road design. This was at an hours notice on a weekday and was pretty much took half the day, so was not a good candidate for an event. Saw this metro tender in newspapers last week that read: "Construction of Elevated Structures (Via Duct) from RV Road station (excluding Viaduct portion) up to Puttenahalli cross (including) and Construction of 3 Nos of Elevated Metro Stations in Reach-4 extension on South Side".

Last evening I noticed contractors starting to work on Mysore Road Station. BMRC's June NewsLetter claims to have awarded most (if not all - I didn't count) of Metro Station related works.
