LEDs on Vehicles - Regulations = better safety for all?

With LEDs becoming cheaper, many have started fitting LEDs to vehicles as decorations.

If fitted with care and some common sense they can look attractive and improve the vehicle's visibility.

The problem starts with people using random colors and placing them on random parts of the vehicle.

I saw a taxi cab with flashing blue and red LEDs on the windscreen.

List of major RUB's and ROB's  within BBMP limit : Total 141 identified by RITES 2012 report as part of Commuter Rail..  Out of that how many will come under BBMP limits ???  Also Volume of Traffic more then 50000 TVU's  are level crossing  : 55 Nos.

The picture below of a switch box at the 4th cross junction, RMV extn, Sadashivanagar (near Sri Mallikarjun Kharge's house), possibly of the high-mast lamp installation adjacent to it, was taken yesterday. It is right on the footpath, and at a level where even school children can readily access the open wires. And, that is a potential hazard, particularly in the current monsoon season.
