Bangalore is ahead of Osaka!

Bangalore is ahead of Osaka, Japan in terms of Human Capital and next to Frankfurt, Germany in the same. It is one of the top 50 cities of the world, according to AT Kearney, Inc a consultancy and "Foreign Policy", a foreign policy magazine based in the US.

New Delhi and Mumbai are ahead of Bangalore in other rankings, but not in terms of Human Potential.

Building on the good vibes about Commuter Rail Service, hear this out now. Devesh mentioned that at a recent meeting where BCIC was taking up the cause of those who commute to BIAL for work, Mr. Arvind Jadhav indicated that a proposal to introduce train service between the BIAL and Bangalore city (via Yeshwanthapur) is being finalized. The service would be operational once the formalities are completed. Quick details:

Going west on Mysore road past ring road junction, you climb up a fairly steep gradient to get to Nayandahalli bus stop. As usual, where three lanes merge into two you see a bus stop. With busses stopped next to each other, it is almost a perennial traffic jam situation.

last month I received a cylinder which looked okay in all respects. After closing down for the day, and opening in the morning, I noticed the smell of leakage. Closer to the cylinder, a low hiss. I rechecked the connection and it was alright. The next morning the story repeated. I asked for a mechanic.

I was at a BCIC meeting this week wherein Devesh had invited Mr Arvind Jadhav (GoK's principal secretary for infrastructure development) over for a talk. Mr Jadhav mentioned some exciting plans, we should hear them soon in mainstream media. The doctor meets the reps only after he is through with the patients of course. When my doctor changed a drug which I was using for ages I was not comfortable.
