We had recently posted about Hubli Dharwad Citizens taking the initiative to help their city.

We think providing a dedicated online presence to the citizens of Hubli-Dharwad will provide a easy, versatile and interactive front to these efforts.

Just read through Bangalore Metro's August'07 updates. Read through the first few pages of that pdf, and you realize that land acquisition seems to be delaying a few tasks - notice the schedule column, search for phrases "revised" or "after land acquisition".

These delays were always expected to be a part of the project, so no complaints there. But one key update you and I should look forward to takes the cake as far as disclosing information is concerned:

BMIC: Gottigere lake muddle?

Any updates on the Gottigere lake thing? Back in March, High Court had asked state govt and NICE to resoolve the Peripheral expressway alignment issue within 3 months. March plus 3 months = June, or latest July? Shouldn't we be hearing some update now?
