The entire stretch of 11th Main and adjoining areas like 14th cross etc...is been dug up. The Maharani's college circle is been closed and all vehicles which wants to go to yeshwanthpur, rajajinagar, or the Tumkur road has to take these roads and making the life miserable. |

Namma Metro - Whose responsibility to look after the workers who build it? kbsyed61 - 14-JAN-2011
If CM is to be believed, Namma Metro will start chugging on Phase-1 route very soon. Der Aye Durust aye (Better late than never). WE all are witness to the making of Metro in B'lore. We all saw how the construction progressed. Even we made noises when trees were cut to make the way for Metro line. I believe this is price we might have to pay for growth and newer development needs. |

4th Block Koramangala Maestripalaya Lake area is used as dumping ground cklinc - 4-JAN-2011
Over the last few months, tractors have been coming with demolition debris and dumping it around the banyan tree in the lake area of Masitrepalaya in 4th Block, Koramangala. Not sure it this is with or without permission from the relevant authorities. Have complained to bbmp helpline and also informed the local corporator. |

How to get construction rubble cleared ? suhridk - 15-DEC-2010
Someone has been dumping construction waste material in the lane next to my house. This consists of waste mud, sand, tiles, bricks, concrete blocks etc. This has resulted in people dumping trash nearby the construciton waste. When I contacted BBMP, they did clear up the trash but not the construction waste. |
