Further from those posts on ticket-less corruption in BMTC, we now have a way of reporting these incidents. Yes, it is an Internet based system, so the complaints about this not being available to majority of BMTC commuters etc etc apply. Still, something is better than nothing. |

Metro /Mono Routes - Suggestions Naveen - 7-AUG-2009
Soil tests are being conducted in various parts of the city for Ph-2 of the Metro. Routes may be finalized based on results of soil tests, but the locations give a fair idea of how the routes are being planned. There were a few concerns which I had & these are summarized in a letter & map with suggestions that has been forwarded to BMRC (via email). |

Redesign of Hosur Road as model road : Footpath and cycle tracks srkulhalli - 5-AUG-2009
Background: Had an unplanned meeting with BBMP, thanks to Ashiwn/SB. Part of our initiative for better road design. This was at an hours notice on a weekday and was pretty much took half the day, so was not a good candidate for an event. Anyways, we discussed the pedestrian infrastructure, footpaths etc. |
