BTRAC's No-parking signs vs painted road kerbs silkboard - 18-JUL-2009
For all the good work that traffic police is driving in the city via BTRAC, I do think that the "no parking" boards (few thousands of them that have come up) are not the best use of money. Here are my issues with them: |

So I did it, in fact twice now. Entered xxxE, knowing fully well that fare to my destination was Rs 6. Took out two 2 rupee coins - no ticket given, no questions asked. Next, I tried this in a Volvo xxxC. Was a bit nervous doing it, and must tell you that I succeeded only in my third attempt at this. Entered the bus, and when conductor passed by asking for tickets, I ignored him. |

Today morning I saw soil testing of Namma Metro Phase 2 in Bank Colony near Udupi Upahar hotel. Boards had written "namma metro phase 2 soil testing". We didn't hear anywhere officially about the alignment of Phase 2 Namma Metro. Surprised to see this!! |

I happened to travel via shivajinagar instead of taking the bus to KBS to reach domlur from sanjay nagar. I reached indian express hoping to get 331-A. It did come but it was already full and around 10 more people got in to the bus. The bus was literally full with just about people managing to find place to stand. |
