The stretch of NH4 running along St Johns Church, Kensington, and Bhaskaran roads joining old Madras road is an interesting stretch to ride. It is a pretty road with constant two way traffic.

One of the core infrastructural issues we are facing is an inability of our arterial roads and highways to provide rapid cross-town access. Globally, city and highway planners recognize and create different infrastructure for highways and city roads. Here are the latest images of the elevated road from jalahalli cross. All the piers are done and spans have been erected from hesarghatta end upto wipro near peenya.

Saw two interesting bits in papers about this project. About a week ago, newspapers carried a list of land properties along NH4/Tumkur road that could be acquired for the project. And today, one newspaper has an ad insert that says - "Navayuga Engineering Co. Ltd.
