Cycle Day in Layouts and Localities, which are close to rail lines

Dear Prajagale,

It may be a good idea to hold the cycle day event held at layouts and localities in Bangalore, which are in close proximity to rail lines and railway stations. A lot of us who have grown up hearing the noise of the chugging trains relate to the concept of a suburban railway in comparison to others.

Praja got special recognition from Volvo at Sustainable Mobility Award 2011. Several Praja projects were nominated for the award, and all of them were appreciated together through the special recognition for Praja (the concept!) itself.

It was really very surreal to meet the praja gang (some of them) today in Bengaluru. I took a volvo bus to Old airport road and finally got to see the faces behind this success called praja.

City station visit - report

Though it was a bit disappointing to see no-show / last minute drop-out from at least 5 guys, we enjoyed strolling around an almost empty city station on Sunday morning. Sanjeev (our resident Railways expert), Sathya, Srivatsava, Murali sir, dvsquare and myself walked end to end. Took some pics as well, here are some:

Praja Blogathon - your review and support please!

Hi Everyone,

We have started the initial planning stages of the Praja Blogathon. The goal of the blogathan is to bring more people to Praja, and expand the content of the site and to bring more projects to the site.

We are aiming to have this event in July, current date is July 16th. The date isn't set it stone but we figured it is a good place to start.
