Dear Prajayists, I wonder what happened to the Peripheral Ring Road Phase-1 in Bangalore connecting Hosur Road-Old Madras Road-Bellary Road-Tumkur Road. In the month of June 2008 the Govt had sanctioned an amount of Rs. 3000 crores for laying of this road by BDA. Land Acquisition process is over and objections were minimal thanks to the TDR facility offered by the BDA in the Master Plan 2015. |

The BTM Ring Road Traffic Mess namma_nadu - 14-NOV-2007The Ring Road from Jayadeva Junction to Silkboard is always clogged and even the police seem to have given up on bringing a semblance of order on this very important stretch. The first part from Jaydeva to 16th main has no intersections and the main blockages are due to the bus stops and indiscriminate parking -- which needs to be banned. |
