How to make footpaths free of transformers - your suggestions

Guys, BESCOM is seeking ideas on how to make Bangalore footpaths free of transformers. I think newspaper ads are out today. Was wondering if we can collect some ideas via this post and share with BESCOM.

To minimize the iron loss during transmission, power needs to be transmitted at a very high voltage. Series of transformers reduce the voltage of the electricity supplied by the towers to a level suitable for use by the electric equipment in the city [220 domestic / 440 Industry].

Transformers are indispensible in power distribution to minimize transmission power loss. We encounter Besom Transformers at every nook and corner in Bangalore streets. Some of the transformers being currently used are huge and occupy lot of foot path space. These are barricaded for general safety.

Hi Sir,

My name is Tina. I was part of the Civic Awareness and Social Responsibilities Credit Course class that you took in Mount Carmel College.

My uncle's house is under construction. Right next to it, there is a transformer that has been put up, which is almost touching his wall.
