Background: My family has been voting in the same constituency since, at least, the 1952 elections(Guess, my grandparents had voted in the Representative Assembly elections too, that's pre-independence era). They have been voting in the same voting booth(Immaculate Heart Convent) since its inception. |

I would like to explain my pain and vain in getting the voter ID, yesterday at Madiwala-VFC, its was the last date yesterday for the EPIC, almost 2000 people were waiting in the queue (it was a mad rush), I was one among them, waited for hours together( from 4 pm to 8 PM), I could not get the details from one counter and go to the next counter for the voter ID (clicking my photo), my long stand |

Voter ID - Corrections required or not? swamy - 19-MAR-2009
Prajagale one question. My voter id has error. Address is not perfect (wrong pin), and name has spelling mistake. I can go vote with this hale Voter ID (used it last year, without problem)? Or we should go for new Voter Id with mistakes corrected? |
