So finally we have the bike stand commissioned at the Airlines today with a short ceremony..

The specifications for the above stand is as below:

No receipts for parking on sundays in jayanagar TTMC - Is it some rule or parking mafia?

Yesterday evening, I was in jayanagar, and I chose to pay-n-park in ttmc jayanagar instead of looking for free parking in the residential roads.
 When I parked, nobody gave me any receipt, and I also forgot to ask that time.

Kerbstone painting to enforce roadside parking?

Every drop of paint used on or around the road should have some purpose, should communicate something to the road users. If you look at the kerbstones, you would find a lot of paint wasted in creating the black/white or black/yellow stripes. As far as I know, the black/yellow or black/white paint patterns don't communicate anything to road users or drivers.

While we are all ok with such shops, as they provide quick solutions to auto/cab/bus drivers I am just wondering

a) Are valid license holders to do the business?

b) Is their vehicle authorized to use for such purposes (which shows white number plate)?

c) Does the RTO rules permit usage of private vehicles for business use?

d) Do the business owner pay taxes?

“We(BBMP) will be charging a nominal Rs 100 per annum from vehicle owners for parking their vehicles from 10 pm to 8 am. Around 15 lakh
