Productive usage of traffic policeman resource

I would suggest to use the traffic policeman in a productive way by reducing the task allotted to them for catching every common man for vehicle documents. There is lot of technology improved why shouldn't the technology flow to the traffic police department.

Was driving my F-I-L's Santro the other day when I was stopped by one of those police parties. 5 of them, settled under a thick tree. Half of them waiting to stop unsuspecting vehicles, the other half busy 'punishing' the 'successful' catches. I never get stopped when driving bigger cars, but the 9 year old santro 'fit' their criteria.

I swear, I was not trying a sting operation here. Though I do wish our electronic media tried sting operations at these day-to-day levels as well, but they are on to bigger things :)
