Bengaluru footpath issues/solution

Bangalore footpaths are unusable at many places and the result is that pedestrians are forced onto the roads where they run a risk of getting hit by vehicular traffic. Many interesting videos are done to show this problem. A recent one by Malleshwaram Socail  is here below:

Fear and Tender S.U.R.E

First would like to start with saying that Tender SURE was indeed a ground breaking effort, literally too, in many ways. Uniform Carriage way and few other principles which are new and commendable.

However the original Tender SURE and the other versions thereafter like the BBMP version of  TenderSURE 'Lite'...

Trees planted but WRONG intentions!!

Initially when the TenderSURE works started, it was decided that there would be no new trees planted. This was an autrocious decission as there cannot be pedestrains on the footpath without tree shade in our city.

TenderSURE - why secretive?

Yes, its beyond doubt that TenderSURE is one of the best things to happen to Bengaluru..howver what is disconcerting is the veil of secrecy or the lack of information around it..the JUSP site mentions the following:

It was in news recently that the road laid by BMRCL around cubbon road after it opened is not of good quality and BBMP was planning to discuss the same with BMRC. This is being done because it is stipulated that relaying roads worked on by metro is to be done by BMRCL itself..

TenderSURE on Residency Road

TenderSURE is being discussed with some discontent these days because it has hit the road users community (dominated by motorvehicle users) hard. However its commendable that they continue with their work.
