I have just found a Belgaum city map of 1894 from the Bombay Gazetteer. The image was in a pdf file & of low resolution and is not very clear. Thanks, Mr.Vilas Patil, a Belgaumite, now working in Pune who has made the present version on the image which is better viewable. See Belgaum in 1894 and now, it has changed. I request all the readers to send in their comments as to what changes they have found in that map and the current Belgaum.

In BIAL discussions, there were arguments and counter arguments about BIAL getting monoply status and holding Bangalore avaition hostage etc. There is a news item from "The Hindu" about strike from AAI employees. Is it OK for AAI employees to go on a strike even if it at comes with passenger incovenience and air travellers being held hostage ?
